'Penbedw is far the best place I have shot I've been there twice and hoping to be back soon, the drives are wonderfully delivered with a steady flow off high clays, the hospitality is first class, the food is better than delicious. And I have shot all over the world this one gets the medal!'
MR JOHN SMITH August 2016
'A day 'on the clays' proved to be an excellent way to keep in touch with our syndicate members out of the season. It is also a good way to 'get your eye in' before the start of the next.'
KATIE QUAIFE KNIGHT March 2017
'Incredible simulated day, despite the weather (as there were storm warnings) the whole experience was amazing. Lots of great food shared with friends and the family. We felt very welcome - just like old friends having fun. Breakfast and a safety talk then 3 drives, lunch and 2 more very different and challenging drives. Hot shower and a roast dinner - I loved the whole thing from start t finish. Smiled the whole time.'
With decades of experience running shoots, we know exactly how to present 'clay birds' to give you and your friends an exciting and enjoyable day's shooting. Our simulated game days are aimed specifically at the experienced game and clay shooters and provide a typical game day, out of the season, and frequently in the warm summer days in shirt sleeves! The ideal number of guns for the day is 12 who will be divided into 6 teams of 2 with one team member shooting while the other loads. After each drive the teams will move pegs, the same as a game day.
It consists of 5 drives during which several thousand clays will be sent over the guns. The challenging targets will simulate pheasant, partridge and duck with many 'high birds'. As the drives are spread out over our 2,500 acres some 4WD vehicles will be useful to transport the guns. We do of course have our own vehicles available also.
We can tailor make the day and event just for you - friends, companies plus those who simply like to watch are very welcome. Maybe you have never tried clay shooting before, if so instructors can safely teach you how to 'break some clays' with guns, cartridges, ear defenders, hats and glasses all provided. (Licences are not required for tuition).
We're very flexible, simple call Sally and have a chat.
